JSSL 7s 2022 (Sept 2-4) registration of interest is here

Registration of interest in JSSL 7s 2022 Tournament Teams is only available if you have already registered for Sunday Competition. Those who try to register their interest for JSSL 7s 2022 Tournament Teams after the early bird registration period for the Sunday Competition Teams has ended, may find that registration for the JSSL 7s 2022 Tournament Teams is no longer open.

The JSSL 7s ( ) is Asia’s largest youth soccer tournament, held in Singapore since 2013. With teams participating from across Asia it’s a great experience, even more as there has not been any opportunities to play in international tournaments in Singapore for more than 2 years now.

Friday and Saturday will be the Group stage of the JSSL 7s in which teams compete with typically 6 opponents for a top-4 finish to qualify for the Cup knock-out stage played on Sunday. Those not qualifying for the Cup will play in the Plate knock-outs. Finals are played at Our Tampines Hub. Group stages are played at The Arena and The Cage at Turf City.

The tournament will take place Fri Sept 2 – Sunday Sept 4.

Singapore-based teams will start their matches on Fri afternoon so parents need to obtain prior school permission to miss school. Interested players need to be available for all matches on Fri PM / Sat / Sun to participate; players who are not available for one of the 3 days may not be selected.

Note that those not playing in the JSSL 7s are still required to participate in the pre-season, as the National Youth Leagues start September 11, the week-end immediately after the JSSL 7s.

Players who wish to participate must make payment of the JSSL 7s Tournament Teams registration fee of SGD $125 (inc GST) after signing up for the Saturday League and Sunday Competition. Fees cover the tournament team’s registration fees. Preparation for the JSSL 7s will be during the pre-season of the Sunday Competition Teams from mid-to-end August. Pro-rated costs of any additional practice sessions outside the regular pre-season sessions will be charged out on at cost ‘pay-as-you-play’ basis.

Positions in the JSSL 7s Tournament Teams are offered to players in the competition teams depending on availability. If registrations are higher than available spaces, a further selection will take place and places will be offered based on skills and team needs.

All players registering for the JSSL 7s 2022 Tournament Teams must pay the JSSL 7s registration fee before hand. Refunds for the JSSL 7s fee will be payable only when a player cannot be offered a position in our JSSL 7s 2022 tournament teams. In certain age groups we may have enough interest to register two teams in the JSSL 7s in that age group, and potentially players from 1 year lower may be put in an age group up if necessary to achieve enough availability for a 2nd team in that older age group. Boys are only allowed to play in one age group, whereas Girls can play in two. Once the final tournament teams are announced no refunds will be given.

If the tournament cannot take place or ANZA Soccer does not have enough players in a certain age group to register a team, then refunds of the JSSL 7s Tournament Fees will be processed accordingly.

Registration of interest in the JSSL 7s tournament is open to boys (from B6-B16)  and girls (G10, G12 and G14 ). All players (boys and girls) interested in participating in the JSSL 7s must register & pay through this page. Earlier expressions of interest to register through the age group’s WhatsApp group are not sufficient.

Volunteer team managers, coaches and assistant coaches will be required for the Tournament Teams. Please advise your child’s Competition Teams Coordinator if you are able to take on one of these roles.

If you have any problems registering, please contact the ANZA Office.
