What’s on in Singapore this May & June
Hockney in the house!

Art lovers are in for a treat with the arrival of David Hockney: Bigger & Closer (not smaller & further away). Taking place at the newly opened IMBA Theatre at Gardens by the Bay until 30 June, visitors can see Hockney’s work of life on a large scale. From the calm of his California pools to the rolling greens of Yorkshire, his paintings are projected across the theatre’s walls, inviting viewers to step inside the landscapes themselves. An original score by American composer Nico Muhly underpins the journey, while Hockney’s own narration threads throughout.

See you in court!

Jury service may not be a thing in Singapore, but you can get close to it at The Jury Experience. This immersive courtroom drama where you’re not just a spectator – you’re the decision-maker – places audiences directly in the jury box, challenging you to listen closely to testimonies, examine evidence and ultimately deliver a verdict. The storyline (a driverless car causes a tragic death) is gripping and will get all wannabe Poirots on the edge of their seats. Until 6 June.
