Saturday Night Live: Nexus returns to Singapore Botanic Gardens
Join more than 200 student performers for a free outdoor concert at the Singapore Botanic Gardens this April!
It doesn’t get much better than live music in the open air at one of Singapore’s most beautiful locations. Last year, Nexus International School (Singapore) made its debut on the iconic Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage at Singapore Botanic Gardens, and it was truly a night to remember.
Despite a dramatic tropical downpour, complete with thunder and lightning, the show went on! More than 200 student musicians took to the stage, performing to an enthusiastic audience of families, friends and staff huddled under umbrellas and special-edition Nexus picnic blankets. From high-energy Michael Jackson medleys to an ABBA finale that had the crowd on their feet and singing along, the evening captured the spirit of community and a shared love of music.
Returning to the Stage
Following last year’s success, Nexus is excited to return to Singapore Botanic Gardens this April for another evening of music under the trees. This year’s concert promises to be even bigger, showcasing the full breadth of the Nexus music programme, with performances from:
- Primary, Secondary and Chamber Choirs
- Chamber Strings and Senior Orchestra
- Jazz and Pop Ensembles
Get ready to sing along with a setlist featuring a range of crowd favourites including hits by OneRepublic, Take That and ABBA, alongside songs from family favourites such as The Greatest Showman.
Join Us on the Lawn
With Singapore Botanic Gardens as the backdrop, it’s the perfect setting for an evening of music and relaxation. Pack a picnic, gather some friends, and settle onto the lawn as Nexus students take the stage for a night of live performances.
