ANZA’s Social Group for Men

Secret Men’s Business (SMB) is a laid-back, social group made up mainly of male trailing spouses from all walks of life – all looking to connect over a few beers, a good lunch, and some friendly banter.

The group meets regularly for casual lunches, with spontaneous get-togethers and social events (often with partners) happening throughout the year. “Basically, if you’re a male, you’re welcome to join us,” says organiser Mike Sabey. “Settling into a new country can be tough if you don’t know many people – especially as a trailing spouse – so this is one way to make those connections.”
