ANZA Advertising Sales Manager | Job Description

The Australian and New Zealand Association (ANZA) provides social, sporting, and recreational opportunities for Australian and New Zealand expatriates, as well as members of the wider international community living in Singapore.
We are seeking a commercially driven Advertising Sales Manager to lead revenue growth and build strong advertising partnerships. This is a hands-on business development role, ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, being out in market, and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.
Based in our Kampong Glam office, this role suits a proactive self-starter who enjoys autonomy, fast decision-making, and direct impact on revenue.
About the Role
The Advertising Sales Manager is a revenue-focused, business development role responsible for generating new advertising and partnership income for ANZA. This position owns the full sales cycle – from identifying and prospecting new advertisers, through pitching and deal-closing, to relationship management and renewal. The role works closely with internal teams to coordinate campaign delivery and reporting, with a primary focus on driving sales, growing the pipeline, and building strong client relationships.
Key Focus Areas
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new advertising and partnership opportunities
- Build, manage, and maintain a strong and visible sales pipeline
- Own the end-to-end sales process from initial contact through to deal close
- Achieve agreed advertising revenue targets across ANZA’s platforms and products
- Identify opportunities to grow, renew, and upsell existing advertiser relationships
Client Relationship Management
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with advertisers and partners
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of service and engagement
- Understand client goals and propose relevant ANZA advertising solutions that deliver value
- Use campaign results and insights to support renewal and repeat business discussions
Sales Presentations & Proposals
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches and proposals tailored to client objectives
- Confidently present ANZA’s advertising and sponsorship offerings in meetings and presentations
- Negotiate commercial terms and secure agreements
Campaign Coordination
- Liaise with clients to collect advertising assets and ensure specifications are met
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on time
- Manage booking forms and contracts to support smooth campaign execution
- Ensure all sponsored content aligns with ANZA brand and quality standards
Client-Facing Reporting & Insights
- Support the preparation of clear, practical post-campaign summaries for clients
- Review and discuss key performance metrics with advertisers, including:
- Website performance (Google Analytics)
- EDM results (open rates, click-through rates)
- Social performance (Meta insights – Facebook and Instagram)
- Use insights to inform sales conversations and future campaign recommendations
- Work with internal team members to source reporting data as required
Systems & Tools
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and opportunities using ANZA’s internal databases and tracking tools
- Confident in using standard office tools and basic digital advertising metrics to support sales activity

Terms of Employment
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and commission structure. Candidates must be Singapore citizens, permanent residents, or eligible to work in Singapore.
