Exploring SG’s Food Factories
Ever wondered how some of the foods you spot in Singapore’s wet markets and hawker centres are made? Here’s your chance to go behind the scenes.
This tour takes you inside a food production facility in eastern Singapore for a closer look at how everyday staples such as soya bean cakes and noodles are produced.
There’s plenty to taste along the way, too. Kopi lovers will get to see the traditional coffee roasting process up close and discover how the beans develop their distinctive flavour and aroma.
Prepare to get a fascinating glimpse into the people, skill and hard work behind some of Singapore’s most-loved foods. And chances are, your next cup of kopi will taste even better once you’ve seen what goes into making it.
Exertion: Low exertion. We will be visiting factories, so we recommend wearing covered shoes.
