Singapore Art Week (SAW) returns from 22 – 31 January 2026, and the whole island is poised for ten days of colour, creativity, and cultural buzz. The event will see galleries flinging open their doors, installations popping up everywhere, and workshops that spark curiosity. One of our favourite moments comes at night when the city glows: check out Light to Night Singapore 2026 where projection art lights up the National Gallery Singapore, Asian Civilisations Museum, Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall, and The Arts House.

Saddle up, it’s CNY!

If you’re new to Singapore, brace yourself – Chinese New Year is a full-blown cultural spectacle that will leave a mark on your memories. In 2026, CNY falls on Tuesday 17 February, ushering in the Year of the Horse. With the public holiday stretching into Wednesday 18 February, the red dot will transform into a frenzy of lion dances, family reunions, and festive cheer. Chinatown is at the heart of it all with heritage processions, traditional showcases, and a party-style atmosphere. Get set for a celebration that lights up the island (and maybe a little bit of you, too).
