Santa scores at ANZA Soccer!

ANZA Soccer wrapped up 2025 with festive celebrations across both The Cage @Dempsey and Canadian International School, bringing the entire community together for one of our most anticipated traditions – the annual Christmas Soccer Day!

This year, Santa made a special appearance at both venues. At Dempsey, the younger kids practically mobbed The Big Man with excitement, rushing up to proudly tell him they’d scored a goal. The older players pretended to be chill. However, we suspect the real heroes of the day were the ice cream and sweet treats that were dished out.

In addition to Santa’s pressies, the gift to the group was – as always – the annual Parents vs Kids matches! The parents took the games very seriously as they do every year, confirming why Christmas Soccer Day remains one of the most enjoyable and funniest days on the ANZA calendar. It’s a perfect reminder of what our community is all about: families getting involved, playing together, and spending quality time outdoors with no screens in sight.

Both events were supported by an A-team of volunteers and extras, including a talented balloonist, photographers capturing the memories, and festive goodies for all. A massive thank you to our families and players for making 2025 such a top year. We hope you had an amazing time celebrating with us, and we can’t wait to see our age groups back on the pitch throughout 2026.
