ANZA Soccer Competition League Registration

Overview

The ANZA Sunday Competition League offers a more competitive soccer experience for players (both boys & girls) who are already part of the Saturday Club League. At an additional fee, players get to enjoy one additional weekday training, and represent ANZA Soccer in external leagues across various age groups.

This programme is open to both boys and girls. All players must also be registered for the Saturday Club League in order to be eligible.

Team Selection Process

  • Trials are open to all players

  • ANZA competes in multiple divisions across various age groups to support differing skill levels.
  • Due to squad size limits and registered team availability per age group, not all trialing players will be offered a spot.

Refund Policy

Refunds for Sunday Competition fees will only be issued under the following conditions:

  • The player is not offered a position on a competition team.
  • Cancellation is received before final team selections are announced.
  • The season is cancelled or disrupted to the extent that ANZA Soccer cannot offer or complete the programme as planned (in which case, partial refunds may be processed).

Please note: ANZA membership fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be provided after final team selections have been announced.

Late Joiners & Mid-Season Trials

  • Late joiners to the Saturday programme may be invited for a weekday trial by the relevant Competition Teams Coordinator.
  • If successful, a place may be offered either immediately or from January 2026.
  • December/January trials may result in player reallocation between teams (if multiple teams exist in that age group).
  • B5 players joining from September–December will be temporarily placed in B6 teams and then formally integrated into their own age group from January.

Parent Involvement

ANZA Soccer is a parent-led, not-for-profit organisation.

  • Weekday training is conducted by professional coaches.
  • Sunday matches are led by parent volunteer coaches.
  • Each team has a Competition Team Coordinator who liaises with the committee and helps manage logistics.
  • From experience, teams thrive when parents are actively involved. We warmly welcome parents to volunteer as coach, assistant coach, or team manager to help create an exceptional experience for all players.

Volunteer roles are typically confirmed by late August in preparation for Sunday matches.
