Want access to extra training? ANZA Soccer’s Thursday skills sessions at Cage, Dempsey are open to all players for a small additional fee.

Led by coaches from Technical Football training and ANZA Soccer trainers, these sessions are designed to help you sharpen your skills, improve your performance, and achieve your goals. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your technique, this is the perfect opportunity to take your abilities to the next level.

What to Expect

Our sessions are structured in two focused parts:

🏋️ Fitness with ANZA coaches (5:00 – 5:30 PM)

  • Physical Resilience: By incorporating strength exercises, we empower our young athletes to develop robust muscles, endurance, and overall fitness. This physical resilience prepares them for the demands of their chosen sports.
  • Injury Prevention: Proper conditioning helps prevent injuries by enhancing joint stability, balance, and flexibility. We want our kids to play safely and enjoyably.
  • Performance Enhancement: A strong foundation contributes to better performance during training sessions and competitive matches. Whether it’s sprinting, kicking, or defending, strength matters.

⚽ Skills Training with Technical Football coaches (5:30 – 7 PM)

  • Skill Refinement: Our skilled training sessions focus on specific techniques – passing, shooting, dribbling, and more. We aim to refine these skills, making our young athletes more effective on the field.
  • Game Intelligence: Understanding game situations, reading opponents, and making smart decisions are critical. Skilled training hones these cognitive aspects of play.
  • Teamwork and Cohesion: Splitting into groups allows personalised attention. It fosters teamwork, camaraderie, and the joy of playing together.

Registration Requirements

Registration for Skills Training is only available after completing registration for the Saturday Club League.
