Where to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in Singapore 2026

What does the end of Ramadan feel like in Singapore? It feels like Geylang Serai lit up like a festival, the smell of BBQs drifting through the evening air, and families crowding around tables having a feast fit for kings! For Muslim communities around the world, Eid al-Fitr is one of the most joyful moments of the year, and Singapore knows how to mark it.

In 2026, Eid signals the end of a month of fasting, prayer and reflection, and it’s expected to begin on the evening of 19 March – though the exact date depends on the sighting of the new crescent moon, a tradition as meaningful as the celebration itself. Over the past weeks, local bazaars in SG have sprung to life as the sun goes down, and many restaurants have hosted special menus to mark the Ramadan period.

As we head into the final week, here’s where to head for great food, a vibrant atmosphere, and the opportunity to experience Eid al-Fitr in Singapore.

Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar

If you haven’t been, go! Over 500 food and retail stalls, dazzling festive lights, traditional kuih, Raya outfits and an atmosphere that’s hard to beat. This year, the Teroka Raya Pop Lokal Fair at Wisma Geylang Serai adds a fashion angle, spotlighting local and regional Muslim designers which is handy if you’re hunting for an Eid outfit.

Ginger at PARKROYAL on Beach Road

For Ramadan 2026, Ginger is serving up a bumper spread that involves everything from seafood and dim sum, to meat skewers and Western dishes. The live grill station with its Korean-style barbecued meats (on rotation), including chicken and beef bulgogi, galbi (beef short ribs), and yang-gogi (lamb chops), is the hard and fast yes from us though!
