Committee Member Nomination: Kylie Barry
Kylie’s Bio: I’m originally from Sydney, and no stranger to Singapore, having lived on the little red dot for 18 years. An established human resources professional within the Talent Acquisition space, I thrive on helping others on their career journey. As a previous executive committee member, I’m definitely knowable in all things ANZA. During my many years of being a part of ANZA, I established and ran a subgroup, volunteered at a number of events, and most recently was a Scout leader. A positive and fun person who loves true crime and is an avid pavlova maker, yes even in this humidity.
Why I’d like to sit on the ANZA Executive Committee in 2023: Hand on my heart, I love the community that ANZA brings which you rarely find elsewhere. Being a volunteer based non-profit organisation, it encourages the spirit of volunteering and community. I feel that my purpose aligns with ANZA’s in that I am committed to provide support, guidance and a sense of fun for the ANZA executive committee and its members. Over the years I’ve shown my commitment to ANZA with regards to being a Scout leader and establishing and running the Single Parents Group. I’m not afraid to roll up my sleeves and help out! I’m fully dedicated to the role of executive committee member and this has been shown over my many years of involvement.
