ANZA Netball Keeping Fit With Virtual Training Sessions

The ANZA Netball crew are making the most of the off-season by doing virtual training sessions on Saturday mornings. A personal trainer takes the girls through a series of strength, speed, ball skills and cardio drills, designed specifically for netball players. All the girls need to participate is a ZOOM link, a yoga mat, a 3m x 3m space, lots of water and some runners. 2010 player Sophie Buck loved catching up with her netball friends, and really enjoyed the digital session.  “It’s a really active way to start the day. I enjoyed all the exercises and seeing my netball friends.”

ANZA Netball is a not-for-profit organisation with many years’ experience in delivering quality Netball programmes to children aged 6 to 16 years. We deliver an inclusive programme focusing on fun, friendship and fitness. We believe in providing opportunities for children of all abilities to play Netball in a safe, positive and encouraging environment.

Planning is well under way  for the 2020/21 season and registrations are open. Some age groups are filling fast so jump online now and sign up to make sure you don’t miss out.
