Singapore’s best dog & cat cafes – bring your pet or meet one there!
ANZA’s social feeds ( anzasingapore, anzasingapore) are brimming with pics of our community out and about on the island, but when we recently posted a shot of our walking group pausing at a cat café, the crowd went wild! After all, who doesn’t love a cuppa and a cake with a four-legged friend? Whether you’ve got pets of your own, or just want one on loan to snuggle up with, we spotlight some of the city’s best places for a bite to eat, chill vibes, and a touch of animal therapy.

The Cat Experience
The Caffeine Experience Star Vista is home to a fabulous cat café next door – The Cat Experience. Run by the same team (and sharing the same acronym, TCE), it’s home to a host of adorable breeds, including a few show-winning Maine Coons. Visits cost $8.90 on weekdays and $10.90 on weekends for 20 minutes of feline fun, or you can book the whole space by the hour. The café menu is a banger, serving everything from croissants to Cajun Roast Chicken, making it ideal for hanging out with food and furballs from breakfast through to dinner.

Left: The Urban Hideout. Right: Meomi Cat Café
The Urban Hideout
For those who prefer their pet cafés peaceful rather than playful, The Urban Hideout in Yishun delivers. Muted tones, minimal décor, and excellent coffee make it a lovely alternative to the chaos of dog parks and more central locations. Dogs, cats, and indeed rabbits, are welcome here and treated to water bowls and homemade treats, while humans can work, read, or just unwind alongside animal pals.

Meomi Cat Café
Long before cat cafés were a thing, Meomi was mastering the art of bringing humans and pets together in public over on North Bridge Road. This hideaway serves friend’s living room vibes, and the cats are some of the most photogenic in town. British Shorthairs, Maine Coons, and a Ragdoll or two glide between the chairs, and if they’re feeling generous, they’ll let you have a stroke as you sip on your coffee.

What The Pug Café
Compact, quirky, and utterly adorable (not unlike a pug, to be fair), this pint-sized café proves good things really do come in small packages. The Pug Café is home to an entire crew of wrinkly-faced charmers, each ready for play and plenty of photos. Visitors can book a 45-minute session to hang out – having a drink and Polaroid snap with your favourite squishy pug is part of the deal.
