Frank Courtney-Jay
President
I joined ANZA Cycling in 2007, and from my very first ride, I knew I had found a special community. The club has been a constant source of support and camaraderie for my family and me throughout our years in Singapore. Through cycling, I’ve made lasting friendships and shared memorable rides both locally and overseas. As President, I’m truly grateful to work alongside a dedicated committee that ensures our club stays safe, fun, and welcoming. Together, we keep the spirit of ANZA Cycling alive, on and off the bike, making every ride something to look forward to.
Melanie Speet
Vice President
I took up cycling during COVID and joined ANZA very early on, drawn by its reputation for having a great community of female cyclists and a strong focus on safety. From the moment I joined, I felt incredibly welcomed and accepted, even as a complete newbie. I can honestly say that I owe my cycling success to the ANZA community.
I’m a senior marketer during business hours, but my passion lies in sports and community - as a dedicated triathlete and swimmer. Now, as Vice President of both ANZA and ANZA Cycling, I'm proud to be in a position to give back to the club that has given me so much.
Ingo Jannes
Treasurer
Hey ANZA! I’m Ingo — part-time desk jockey, full-time sufferfest enthusiast. I’m equally at home on short, spicy sprints or questioning my life choices halfway through a 200km Audax. I ride for the coffee, the chaos, and occasionally… the fitness. #Rideon
Abraham Metta
Membership
Abe joined ANZA in 2013, one week after landing in the Little Red Dot. After 10 years of being a rider with the group, he was invited to be the “Memberships Guy” for ANZA cycling. You can find him on the road 4 times a week (that's what he keeps saying, but really whenever he is not sleeping in), and he is always happy to help in any way possible. He has led the team redesigning the club kit as well as deployment of membership perks… and he will message you if your membership is overdue!
When not riding, he is an Engineer, and either keeping buildings running or fixing/upgrading his bike.
Joanna Zablocka
Social & Events Director
Hi, I’m Joanna. I’ve been on a bike since childhood, always a mountain biker at heart. After relocating, road cycling has become my new norm. I especially enjoy rides with long climbs and good coffee stops. This year, I’ve already climbed a total elevation of 38,638 meters across 4k kilometers.
By day, I’m a data scientist, and I love to clear my head on the bike, there’s nothing like the rhythm of the pedals to reset and recharge.
Looking forward to many great rides with the team!
